Eternity Series (1)

Where to look? Where am I?

Are You here? My soul does abide.

When can I come to be with You?

Your heart is a mirror; faithful and true.

Give me the strength to face this Earth.

Light this torch, may I be part of Your world.

Give me hands that are ready; a heart that Is strong.

May Your beauty shine on me;

For in the end, this world is not my home.

To You and from You, You alone;

Place me exactly where I belong.

Psalm 91:10-12, 14-16

10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near you, 11 For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands.

14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Psalm 34:17-20

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. 18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. 19 The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; 20 He protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.

Psalm 30:5

“For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”

Psalm 27:7-8

7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me. 8 My heart says of you, ‘Seek His face!’ Your face, Lord, I will seek.

Psalm 16:9-11

9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, 10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. 11 You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.

Psalm 8:3-4

3 When I consider Your Heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, 4 what is mankind that You are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?

Wandering

What is this life through which we are wandering? Why do things seem so bleak?

Where are we heading and where have we been? How do we know the journey’s peak?

Blinded by the day to day. Darkening with every passing hour. How have we become in this such state, wishing for all but where we are?

Bring us home. Lord, fill these hearts. Hope is needed; Your Mercy waiting. Make us into what we are not.

Please bind the willingness with desire. Lord, God please ignite these embers, into hearts on fire. Hope is fleeting fast; please let no idle moment pass.

God giver of hope and strength; move these bones inside of me. Light a torch of endless hope. Give Your Children the strength to go on.

Faithfulness: we know You are making us strong. Mercy: we know to whom our hearts belong. Love: we know that it is to Him alone.

Lord let our cries ring forth through the Heavens and beyond!

Heal our Hearts.

With You is the only place that I belong.

My Definition of Hope:

In the grand scheme of our existence, time on this earth is but a drop of water in the ocean of God’s eternity.

It is when we set our eyes upon things above that we are truly free. It is in the solitude, when we stop and just sit with God in adoration and fear and love and praise; it is within those moments that we experience awakening of the soul.

Words dissipate in the awe of the moment. The Lord whispers, “the Spirit will intercede, just be with Me.”

His infinite love intertwines flesh and Spirit, and in that moment we see just a glimmer of Heaven’s glory and splendor. That split-second encounter ignites a fire of Hope within.

When I reflect on this, I am reassured of the joy that is before me; and I am stronger because I know eventually I’ll be in His presence forevermore.

I love You Lord

2017: Finding Your Child in Me

Can I forget the pain?
I know you’re with me, but I feel unchanged.
I see Your beauty in every creature.
You spared nothing when You chose my place;
Blessings beyond comprehension.
Generations of followers, how could I belong here?

I feel like I’ll never be worthy of who You know I am.

Will I ever change?
Can I end this shame?
Will I be alone forever?

And then He said,

“With every piece of your world, you are exactly the one I made.
I knew you would come, and I know how you will go; and that is with blessings unimaginable.
You are chosen, you are loved and blessed.
You will conquer these demons; you’re strong, and I know every corner of your heart.

Move forward, I am waiting for you.
We are here, your prayer army is cheering.
The ones who made you on that Earth are here; they want your life to build Our Kingdom.
Their prayers ring out through Heaven itself!”

Change me Lord, make me beautiful.
Make my Heart Your Heart.
It’s been a long journey, and it’s not going to end until You call me to You.
I know you can change me.
In an instant you’d make me whole.
And my saving Grace in times of doubt; dark and weak moments robbing my heart from Your confidence.

You cannot warm this heart while it’s tied to my failures.

Fall on me. Walk with me. Let me think of You in every endeavor, and let my spirit be ever closer to You.

I know You’re making me beautiful; I know You’re making me new.
But when Lord can I just be with You?

Take my life.
May my words be Your words; my actions Your actions.

Make my heart reflect Your beauty and love.
Change me forever, until my heart is Yours alone.
